Reggae Star Tessanne Chin Rocks "The Voice"

Reggae star and "The Voice" contestant Tessanne Chin rocked the stage last on NBC's "The Voice". Singing Pink's hit song "Try" , Tessanne wowed the judges and was selected by all four. After serenading the judges with her sultry voice, Tessanne swooned them with her Jamaican accent. After the singer stated that singing was her "bread and butta", judges Christina Aguillera and Adam Levine pleaded with her to repeat her statement in an effort to hear her accent once more. In the end Tessanne chose rocker Adam Levine to be her coach for the season. Tessanne Chin began her musical career singing background for reggae star Jimmy Cliff. After 3 years of touring with Cliff she started her solo career releasing her hit song "Hideaway", which received heavy rotation in Jamaica and abroad. The song was featured on VP Records Reggae Gold 2007. Later on she released two more singles "Black Books" and "The Messenger". In 2010 she released her debut album entitled "In Between Words". In 2011 she married her best friend of 4 years Micheal Cuffe a Special Projects Manager for Gaurdman Ltd. "The Voice" airs on NBC Monday's and Tuesday's 8/7c.
